Twitter — Your Online Blueprint For Cash
I think I know what you might be thinking. Twitter and Money? Are you joking me?
Well, in this short article, I am not going to be able to give you a complete online blueprint telling you how to use Twitter for maximum cash, but I will talk to you a little how it can influence your business for good, especially if you’re a small business owner.
Twitter – Mass SMS System?
Let’s talk for a second about what Twitter actually is. Once you sign up, you’re able to send short, few word messages to everyone that’s “following” you. Following in the case of twitter means that they sign up to be notified when you create a short Twitter message (called a “tweet”). It takes just one mouse click to follow someone and is really easy to do (every user has a big “Follow” button next to their username. Just click it and you’re following them.)
What does this mean to you and your business?
Imagine you have 5000 people following you and you’re releasing a new product. Do you think sending a quick tweet about it would help you and your business? Of course it would. If only 5 percent of the people that read your tweet went to see what you have to sell and 3 percent of those people bought it, you just made 7 sales that you wouldn’t make, were it not for Twitter. The great thing is that all it really took was just about 3 minutes of work.
Makes sense? Let’s read on.
How Else Can Twitter Affect Your Business?
One of the greatest things about Twitter is ease of use. People can send a short tweet in as little as 15 seconds if they are good typers, so another thing that twitter can do for you appart from direct sales is grant you massive exposure and word of mouth advertising.
Let’s say you have something that everyone wants, likes or is supprised by. Do you think people will talk about it? Of course they will. They will tell everyone they know and, most importantly, they’ll tweet about it, which equals instant exposure, instant sales, instant cash.
Now, do you think that a few more sales a day would influence your business in any way?
Of course it would.
